AVTRANS

Asked by maluneelambari

Hi,
The average transmission co -efficient values in the file .AVTEIG_Left-Right comes more than 1. Why does it come like this? Doesn't transmission coefficient value lie between 0 and 1? Is it showing a scaled value?

Thank you

If *any* values in the TEIG file becomes more than one, then something is wrong with your calculation.

Always check the output of your calculation to ensure everything is as suspected.

In the TEIG file and in the AVTEIG file all values are less than 1. But in
AVTRANS file it is more than 1. Which file should be used to plot
transmission ? Isn't it AVTRANS file?

Yes, the AVTRANS contains the total transmission (which *may* be larger than one).
