Features request

Asked by ericc

Finally a good screen capture software for Linux !
Thanks for this, I was looking for such software since years.

But to make it even better, I have 2 features missing (I saw that some other people already propose them but I want to let you know that they are really important)

1°) The autosave feature is nice but I prefers to save the screen-shot where I want with the name I want. Actually it save it with screenshot_xxx.png, then I press Ctrl+Shift+S, then select the correct folder, then fill the name and then finally go to Thunar to delete the screenshot_xxx.png file !!! a little bit annoying especially when you make a lot of screenshot.
If only it can remember the folder where I save the previous one !
I don't want to "replace" the existing "autosave" function as in certain case it make sense, but I would like to have choice

2°) As I say, I take a lot of screenshot, and quite often of the same area (same size, same position). It could be really useful to have an option "repeat last capture" ! Like this all my screenshot will have the same size which is nearly impossible when you do the selection manually

Thanks again for the excellent tool

Ok, fine. I'll just post all the related bugs here to be able to refer
to it later on.

Maybe it would be easer to configure Shutter to use the $TEMP folder. At
least when rebooting this folder will be cleaned.

Anyway, this is a reasonable request.
