keybinding for delay?

Hi,
I'd find useful if I could set keybinding for some seconds delay in a capture, without having to go to Preferences, etc. every time I need some delay (for example to open a drop down menu)

There are controls to configure the delay and the cursor settings in the
statusbar of the main window (latest development version):
