Change website screenshot capture resolution

Asked by Ofir Klinger

Hello,

First of all, I must say that Shutter is the best capture program I ever used! Great Job!

I am trying to make a website screenshot in higher resolution then Shutter providing by default.

I need it to be more like HD, so width of 1280px will be the minimum...

I just wanted to know if there is some option that I can set the width (or dimensions, I don't know how it works) for the screenshot?

Thanks!

Yes, that's possible in general but it is not configurable within Shutter I am afraid. Shutter uses gnome-web-photo for its website screenshots.
Maybe you can have a try using gnome-web-photo directly via terminal:

gnome-web-photo --mode photo --width 1600 --format png http://www.launchpad.net output.png

You can use the --width parameter to set the desired width of the website (default: 1024).

I'll create a bug report for the missing option. Thanks for your input.

Cheers
Mario
