Can't install on Kubuntu Hardy
Tried to install on Kubuntu Hardy and failed miserably. First I was unable to get the sources installed properly. I picked the Hardy version, pasted them into the Adept Installer (3rd party packages); but when it went to update the sources, it complains saying: "Could not commit changes - Adept Batch" and "Possibly there was a problem downloading some packages or the commit would break packages."
So I tried downloading and installing the various packages myself; worked my way through the Perl 5.10... stuff, and finally got stuck on libgtkimageview. I was able to install parts of it successfully using apt-get, but when I then tried to install libgtkimageview
I also had problems getting libpango to install...
and I kept getting messages at various points that a package installation was looking for a certain version which was later than the one it said it was going to install.
All in all, a round-n-round situation getting nowhere.
Any suggestions?
Thanks much...jon
