Open Shutters editor from the command line

Is it possible to open shutters built-in editor withe the command line? Or better yet, is it possible to get that built-in editor as standalone application?
The reason why I ask is, I can't use shutter as screenshot tool because of this bug:

But I love the built-in editor. I dislike using Spectacle with KolourPaint. So I wanted to ask if it's possible to use shutters editor instead of KolourPaint without always opening shutter and copy-pasting the Image into it.
