Arguments for keyboard shortcut

Asked by Dec Land

I wish to make a custom shortcut (on LinuxMint) as described on your set-shutter-as-the-default-screenshot-tool page.

You give the example of shutter -f as an example for the command to be bound to the keys.

What is -f?
What arguments are available for the command?
What arguments are needed for 'screenshot a rectangular selection'?
