Any chance to get a release for Cosmic?

Currently shutter is not available in the default repos for Cosmic ( https://packages.ubuntu.com/search?suite=all&searchon=names&keywords=shutter ) - why?

Any chance to get a PPA build for it here?

shutter depends on outdated versions of other packages which are no more available in cosmic.

There are some PPAs trying to port the outdated software packages to cosmic for an installation of shutter, see https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+ppas?name_filter=shutter

There is a working PPA at https://www.linuxuprising.com/2018/10/shutter-removed-from-ubuntu-1810-and.html . Would love to see an official one though!
