Authorization for official website

I wanted to search for some docs on writing plugins for Shutter, but it turned out that http://shutter-project.org/ website requires authorization.

Both "Home page" link on launchpad and link from "About" in the program itself point to Home page http://shutter-project.org/ but it is not public available. Why?
