Feature request: Default action in preferences + more action options (Shadow plugin)

It would be nice to be able to take a screenshot and have a certain action apply to it immediately. For me, I want the majority of my screenshots to have the "hard shadow" plugin applied to them. Not sure of the best way to do this but one would be under preferences and then actions, then add another section that says "apply plugin".
