Is there an OFFLINE manual?

Asked by lpandz

Is there an OFFLINE manual? If there is one, please point me to it. Suggestion on improving userExperience with Shutter: provide an OFFLINE manual. Place the pointer to this OFFLINE manual at Help > OFFLINE manual. In that OFFLINE manual, there is a pointer to an ONLINE help. This way, all bases are covered, online and OFFLINE.

There is no kind of manual right now, because we do not have enough man-power.

If you would like to help out here (or know someone who wants to), please feel free to start. DocBook is preferred: http://developer.gnome.org/gdp-handbook/stable/gnomedocsystem.html.en#moredocbookinfo

I think we want http://projectmallard.org/ actually...
it supersedes DocBook, doesn't it?

Not enough manpower? OK, now I understand. That leaves me to try to learn the hard way: trial-and-error. Not good enough but I guess that is how things are currently. I can't be a 'teacher' and then prepare a lesson plan for students. I'm a 'student' who needs a 'teacher' (manual) before I'm good enough to be a 'teacher' and then write the manual. Chicken-and-egg thing. In any case, thanks for the response.

Can you help with this problem?
