how to take screenshot without using the mouse?

Hi guys,
I just downloaded this program because I wanted to be able to take a screenshot that shows me clicking on a menu to prove something is not listed under that menu. So how can I take a screenshot without using my mouse to click the "Full Screen" button, if by doing so the menu I want to show disappears? Is there perhaps a keyboard shortcut that I can use? Thanks!

You don't have to press any keys - just wait for the countdown to finish.

I saw that, but what if I want to take a picture of the menu PLUS whatever else is on the screen as well? Is there a way to do that? I basically want a picture of the entire screen with the menu pulled down as well. Thanks.

In this case it is enough to configure a delay (statusbar) and hit the
"capture desktop" button. While the countdown runs you will have time to
open the menu.
