Shutter and Ubuntu 10.10

Asked by Paul Purvis

I have used shutter for a few versions of Ubuntu. The latest 10.10 seems to have affected the option <Alt> PrtScn and I cannot grab a selection with this combination. PrtScn by itself works fine. I have tried alternative key bindings also without success. Any suggestions please?

I'll check that as soon as possible.

This seems to be a bug in Ubuntu 10.10, see this bug report:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/610097

This has nothing to do with Shutter itself, so we can't fix it.
Please use an alternative shortcut, e.g. <Control>Print, until this is fixed.

And the 'Super' key works fine also. I have shifted to using the Super-PrtScn as my default.
