failed to edit pics

hello
i have shutter screen cap
few days ago i use shutter to capture my screen and edit all the captured pics
but now when i try to edit the picture the edit button disabled
i try to find any thing in the preference menu
but nothing over there
any help please

You have to install the following package:
libgoo-canvas-perl

If you are using Ubuntu (via terminal):
sudo apt-get install libgoo-canvas-perl

Thank you Mario, your advice fixed the identical problem for me. Is there anything we can do to get libgoo-canvas-perl installed by default when installing shutter?

This is not a bug in Shutter - it is just the way the official packages are build. Please use our PPA if you don’t want to install the packages manually.
