Quick way to create files

Asked by Noe Nieto

On most editors I have used, opening unexisting files gives you the chance to create a file with that name. That does not happen when I hit ctrl-O.

I have to hit ctrl-N, then ctrl-s and navigate to the folder where I want to create the file I want (up to 10 clicks).

What's the easies way to create files?

Your're right.

ctrl+shift+o can't create files on subfolders. I do this on emacs, vi and WingIDE.

I think this would this be useful for Scribes.

Make sense. You can open a bug report for it so I don't forget.
