Is it possible to configure scribes to set window size & position more intelligently?

Asked by Thomi Richards

Currently it seems that there is no logic to the size & position of new windows scribes creates. Sometimes they appear very wide and short, which is not much good for editing a typical source file.

It would be nice to be able to configure window dimensions for new windows, or perhaps have scribes choose more sensible defaults.

There's logic to it. Scribes remembers the window position and size of files you open.

...I see. However, the default for new files seem a little odd. Is there no way we can configure those?

For example, I switch between many branches of the same code. Every time I move to a new branch and start editing files I need to manually resize all my scribes windows.

Open an empty window. Change the size of the window. Close the window. Now all new windows will have the new size.
