how should PPI be used in scribe2?

Asked by siznax

we have a way to set the PPI on a scribe station which only writes to:

  /home/scribe/.scriblio/scribe.xml

which currently gets written into the scandata at the book (and possibly page) level, but how is it intended to be used?

please comment ...

Steve-

What do you mean by 'how is it intended to be used?'

By IT I assume you mean e.g. 500ppi

Are you asking, "how is this data used in/the processing/deriver?"

OR

Are you asking, "how is this data intended to be used by an operator/end user/archive folk?"

OR

Are you asking, "how would the page level PPI data be used?"

OR IS THIS A TEST ..

I'm lost in a dark tunnel wishing I could see the light at the end, which is peeking through a little pin hole.. help I'm COLD
