Too many worksheets created

Asked by JoeC

I have created some extra worksheets for testing. Is there a way to delete the worksheets? Also is there a way to delete activities? There is a delete button on the Activities page for a worksheet but it does not delete anything. Thanks!

Hi Joe,

In the first version we didn't implement a simple "delete worksheet" function because I felt it would make it too easy to accidentally (or intentionally if the wrong person got access to a teacher's account, perhaps just walking by the teacher's desk while they were logged in) delete an entire semester or marking period's worth of grades.

In the next version (end of October) you'll be able to "hide" worksheets, but also bring them back if you hid them in error.

To delete an activity, check the box next to it and then hit the "delete" button.

Even hiding in the latest version, leaves the worksheet and activities on the table header while in gradebook.

My teachers will very likely mess up the order and the names, wanting to edit these table headers and their order.

I would suggest

1) make these visible to the admin or manage and allow them the permission to delete.

This would give achieve both needs, protection of data at the teacher level and the final ability to remove unwanted data and descriptions.

So... is the problem just that "hiding" isn't actually "hiding" the worksheets?

Can you help with this problem?
