Is this the program for me?

Asked by Karen on 2016-06-04

I am an administrator of a small hybrid school. Students take anywhere from 1-6 classes with our program at various times. I am looking for software to help with a digital gradebook all of my teachers can access from their home computers. I would also like to be able to generate report cards for our students. Does this software offer that type help? Also, can grades and report cards be stored online with a server such as OneDrive? Finally, can the software retain records from year to year?

I use Windows 8.1, but some of my teachers use Windows 10, older versions of Windows, and even Macs.

SchoolTool may be the program for you. You can set up a generic report card through the system, but you may want a customized version to suit your specific requirements. I'm not exactly sure what you mean about sorting the report cards online. The system generates PDF's for report cards, so they can certainly be archived online. The system does retain records across years.

Oh, and the server runs on Ubuntu linux, but the web interface should work with any reasonably recent browser, or, at worst, you might need to update a more recent version of Firefox or Safari instead of an ancient IE.

Can you help with this problem?
