How do I us the rotating schedule timetable?

Asked by Lauren

My school has classes that are, for example, from 10:00-11:00 for weeks 1 and 2, then 14:00-15:00 for weeks 3 and 4, then back to 10:00-11:00 for weeks 5 and 6, and on and on.

This seems to fall under the category of rotating schedule, but I can't find any documentation on how to use the rotating schedule feature.

Could someone point me to relevant documentation or tell me how to achieve this?

The rotating timetables are just used to specify a sequence of days other than the days of the week. For example, if the school has a sequence of six days instead of days of the week. You should be able to manually set start and end dates for your timetable period, but it might be too tedious. See http://book.schooltool.org/sections.html#scheduling-the-section-into-a-timetable

If you do want to try that, I would definitely test it first. I think the date range setting might be buggy.

Can you help with this problem?
