timetable issues

Asked by Paul

I am having some problems with the timetables. The first week was fine but after that all the classes change position. I tried setting the time date to UTC but that didn't seem to help. Any help would be great.

Is there any particular pattern to this? How many hours offset? What time zone are you in?

The timetable seems to appear a day early now. I set the server to UTC and the same time for school tool.

It is exactly 24 hours early all the way through? What timezone was this set to originally?

is there anyway I can send you a couple of screen shots of the calendar as it doesn't seem to be 24 hours behind exactly. The first two weeks of September are fine but it changes after that.

I believe now that the scheduled lessons go out of sync by 2 days because I originally put in all the holidays before scheduling the lessons. We had the 28th and 29th of September which then seemed to interrupt the scheduled lessons. Is there anyway of fixing this issue? I removed those two holidays to see if they would be filled with scheduled lessons but they stayed blank.

Overtime there is a holiday the scheduled lessons get pushed over a day.

When you set up the timetable, did you select "rotating cycle" instead of "days of the week?"

I believe I selected days of the week. I just tried rotating cycle and it didn’t work.

Many thanks for all your help. It took a while but the issue was with the rotating cycle. I've reset the whole timetable now a put days of the week. I does mean that I have to input a lot of data again but the system hasn't been fully implemented yet anyway.
