Can we use the schooltool to manage a small school library?

We are considering using schooltool in a couple of schools in India. Can we use the schooltool to manage a small school library? This would reduce the amount of work for implementation of a library system. We need very basic functionality: just student names, books issued to them and returned. Alternatively, if we could somehow tag the books issued information to the student's information that might be adequate. We don't need to do anything complicated like track books issued, adminster overdue fines, etc.

That would require some customization work by us. It would not be a big job but you'd be looking at a few thousand USD.
