Filtering Absences By Day Report by Group Name

The absences by day report is great, but the report will be more useful if we can filter the output by group name. Because for each grade level 9, 10, 11 or 12, a vice principle is responsible for tracking attendances. How can we add filter group option to absences by day report tool?
