Adding Term and Group name to report sheet

Asked by Chad

Good morning. Is it possible to add the student group and term to the top of their report sheets. We use a group to associate a student with a particular classroom. Example group 3C would hold all the students for that physical classroom. We are interested in seeing the Term and 3C group at the top of each report sheet.

Apologies saying report sheets. We would like the group and term to print on report cards. The same report card that is given to parents at the Term's end. So in essence, a parent can view the report card and see the class (Group 3C) at the top of the report card and can easily identify the classroom (3C) that the student belongs to. Also the parent will know which term the report card is for.

Thanks in Advance
Chadel

In the upcoming 3.0 release, we've added "streams," which are essentially the primary group used for student's classes. We'll add the stream to the standard report card layout. I filed a bug for this.

When will the 3.0 be released? I am asking because student scores are to be entered in 6 weeks time. I would love that feature to be in the upcoming report cards. Right now we are using groups to associate students to their classrooms.

3.0 will be out around the new year. We could do a custom report card for you as paid development.
