Delete All Contacts at once

Morning Sir, I added 1200 contacts to my list in schooltool and i accidentally uploaded the csv file in the wrong order such that last name and firstname is in the wrong place i want to delete all the contact and re upload same. How can i go about doing this and not having to delete them 1 by 1.

Hm... I think you can re-import them with the names reversed and it will properly update them. That's probably the easiest thing.

i tried but its saying username duplicated

OK, I filed a bug for that, as you should be able to just revise them. First off, I presume you don't have a recent enough backup to just revert to that. If you didn't connect the contacts to students, you could probably just ignore them and only create the contact relationships to the correct people -- since you'll generally find the contacts via the relationships with a student rather than searching them directly.

Or perhaps you could just wait for us to fix the bug in the next release (a month or so) and live with the name confusion.

We don't seem to have a "username duplicated" error message in the current code. Can you tell us exactly what you're doing and exactly what the error message is?

ok ill wait and another thing i believe groups should be able to tick or
select all and delete and the csv file should be different from the contact
import as this was an error i experienced by uploading contacts as group
causing for me to be deleting groups one by one
