Discipline Module

Hello, I understand that this question has already been previously asked, but it was a few years ago now.
I wanted to know if you were planning on making a disciplinary module for schooltool
e.g.
----> Detentions <----
----> Merits and DeMerits <----
----> Suspensions (Internal and External) <----

This would be very helpful if you could include this very soon.

Hi Abe,

Right now, we have resources in our core budget to maintain and refine pretty much the modules we've got.

Having said that, as our base of users expands, we are getting more serious requests for new modules and have begun talking more seriously (at this point) to customers who have the capacity to fund them.

The trick is that while it is relatively easy to imagine one specific disciplinary system that could be implemented in a short period of time -- a week or two -- for us to design a generic, somewhat globally applicable system would potentially take much more time.

So essentially at this point, we're looking at how to fund this sort of thing, even if it means just doing a quick implementation that primarily works in a specific context and then elaborating it over time. We may even be getting to the point where we could try Kickstarter or something like it to gather funds from several schools (although Kickstarter probably doesn't fit how schools write their budgets and purchase orders).
