I hope the next version of the LDAP feature will be improved to support other LDAP parameters.
In a school environment, students always have a same first name/last name. So I think the username of schooltool should be separated mapping and don't map with their first name or last name.

For example, when I implement schooltool with Windows Active Directory (2012)
Windows User
username= s130001 -> map to the schooltool "username" attribute
firstname= Ryan -> map to the schooltool "firstname"
lastname= Cheung -> map to the schooltool "lastname"

When student login to the schooltool, he use "s130001" to login

I hope this suggestion will be good for your futher development, thanks :)

Yes, Ryan, we definitely appreciate the feedback and will try to get to it. It doesn't sound too difficult.

We're just finishing a new release so everyone is feeling a bit crunched.

Can you help with this problem?
