Hosting Data

Hi. Where does your system host data? We are in Italy and are subject to strict rules governing where student data is held, basically it must stay on our servers, although i think we can access via the web.

What server requirements are there? Do we need 64 bit?

Hi Giles,

Data is stored on your server. Using Ubuntu, it is at /var/lib/schooltool/Data.fs. How much it is accessible over the web or local network depends on both your server and network settings.
