Apply a grade for all students does not work ST 1.6

Asked by Laurie Savage

Server Running ST 1.6 on Ubuntu 11.04 over LAN.
Users: Internet Explorer 8+, Windows XP, Vista or 7

Gradebook
Users cannot apply a grade for all students in the gradebook. The "apply" button does not appear. Another issue is that the colour coding for unsaved or invalid scores does not appear.

Calendar
A logged-in user will sometimes be served a calendar that is for the previous day (i.e on Tuesday I will see a Monday calendar) . Server and client computers are all synchronised to the same time server. Is this a caching issue? How should I fix it?

Oops, sorry I didn't pick up this thread the first time Laurie.

Can you try the gradebook bug on Firefox just so we can confirm it is an issue with IE?

Regarding the calendar, the time on the client computer would not be the issue. One possible culprit, in addition to possibly a caching issue as you mention, would be a timezone issue. Does it seem to go away later in the day?

I'll create bugs for both of these.

The calendar remembers last day user visited, this is what probably causes users to see "yesterday" in your case.

How is this recorded? If it was a cookie we could make it timeout, right? You really only want to store the last day visited for a limited period of time.

Can you help with this problem?
