How to transfer students into a new school year?

After a school year, most of the students will return the following school year. I may be missing something obvious, but I can't figure out how to bring these students into the new school year except to export to a spreadsheet and then import them into the new year. Is there an easier way?

When you create a new year on the add form you should see choices (checkboxes) to copy members from the active year. That's the easiest way.

Otherwise, you can navigate to the group in the new year and go to Import Group Members. You can copy paste a list of the students from the export spreadsheet into that form. It might be a bit less messy than manipulating and re-importing the spreadsheet.
