I'm sorry, for delay. I was on leave.
Currently, no specific information required for pre-school year event, as it's just a regular practical work, which is evaluated at the beginning of school year.

I'm not sure there's anything you can do about it, because I think i'ts the ST design problem, because it relies on period based planning rather than group based planning where every group could have different (flexible) education period start/end.

But if you come up with the solution, please share.

You can create a schoolyear that starts and ends mid-summer, and create terms like pre-school, autumn, spring, post-school, and only put the learning courses in autumn and spring terms. But if the training events end when the first term has already started, this setup is not possible, because terms cannot overlap.

You can make the schoolyear/term start earlier, then change the schedule of a section to have a different start/end date than the term has. But this way you have to edit each section, and there's many of them.

Also, it is possible to add Events that are not in the schoolyear. Then create an activity that is due the second week to evaluate it. Events and activities are not related anyway. But if you want a pre-school section with a schedule and members, but that does not fit in a term... Then you hit a design limitation, sorry.
