is it allowed to change a scheduled event (instead of a manually created event)

Asked by Zhang Weiwu

Hi. I am quite confused at this.

   1. Schedule a section by selecting a time table and check the periods.
   2. A lot of new events are then created for this section as I scheduled them.

Can I change the start time or date of one of the single event that is scheduled as above? I thought I can, as I did with a pilot system several months ago. But now I found on the production system if I click "Edit event" I am offered to change only the description of event. I think I have full permission (manager).

Thanks.

Just want to add that
1) "Change Timetable for One Day" does not handle the case an event (a class) is postponed a day, e.g. what should be on Monday is changed to Tuesday.
2) I tried to change time table for one day, but the change do not result change of an event that is already scheduled using the changed time able. Even if it does, it wouldn't be as useful & convenient as changing a single event.

I don't think what you're trying to do is supposed to work. Also, the change timetable for one day addresses a very different case than yours, I think. It is aimed at a primary or secondary school that has to change the meeting times for all classes because of something like a school assembly, or early or late dismissal for weather or another special reason.
