sbackup 0.11.4 on Redhat

Asked by wael emam

Hello,

I was wondering if there is any rpm for sbackup 0.11.4 for redhat 5, I have searched everywhere but I can only find sbackup 0.10.5 which is running fine. But I want to have the email option.

Hello wael emam,

unfortunately there is no RPM. However, any help preparing one would be appreciated :-)

You could try to install it directly from the source code. sbackup 0.11.4 is written in Python and therefore not hard to install from source (no compiling required). Just have a look at the README file and maybe you want to give it a try (you can test it in a virtual machine to be safe).

Hope this helps.

Best regards,

Jean-Peer
