Sbackup restores previously deleted files when doing restore as

Asked by michal.gregor

Hi! I have just tried using the "revert as" option which I expected to revert the selected directory to the state in which the data were when taking the corresponding snapshot.

However it also restores files that were already deleted by then (after the base snapshot was taken and before the incremental snapshot in question was taken).

Now I have a lot of redundant files that should no longer be there. Is this the correct behaviour? Is it possible to revert to the exact state of the snapshot? Is it at least possible to obtain the list of files included in a snapshot in plain text so that I can write a script to remove the rest?

I have now decided to extract the data manually as it seems these archives are essentially just incremental tarballs. Any ideas? Is there any trouble that I might run into?
