root privileges

Currently installed the latest version. I am the owner and only user of this computer, how do I access the Sbackup schedule, it is currently greyed out.

You'll have to execute SBackup with root privileges. From command line you can do this by typing 'sudo ...'. When launching SBackup from menu please choose 'Applications -> System tools -> ...' to start it as root user (enables scheduled backups).
