Is TLS/SSL going to be added in the future for secure backups?

Asked by Darrell

for whatever reason, i am not able to connect to my remote server for backups via ssh using SBackup and the server only allows ftp connections with TLS/SSL. Is ftp with TLS/SSL. I can access my server via putty and ssh, but not by using SBackup. I am able to reach the server using FTP clients like FireFTP or FileZilla, but only with the TLS encrption selected; these selections are not available for SBackup.

Please have a look at our FAQs and ongoing discussions regarding ssh and sftp. Basically, sbackup (0.11.x) supports backups to remote targets over ssh and sftp.
Thanks for using sbackup and asking this question.
