Cannot access applications while in local network mode.

Hello my acceptable SamePlace overlords,
I am greatly enthusiastic of this.

Though I am online, SP does not connect to any local servers or remote.
There is no indication why.
Previously this has been resolved by restarting Firefox.
Though no longer. Some status 'lights' would be helpful. (Network, DNS, resolved,....)
Even 4 connection.debug mode.
Being an Instant messaging platform, the user experience is more traumatic if there is no clue as to the reason 4 lack of connection.

When using local connections, I cannot see many apps available as they are javascript directories held at apps.sameplace.cc.
Is there a plan to allow these to cached?

I'm overhauling reporting (starting from logging) for the next major release. Yes, their current state is sub-optimal (to put it mildly).

Can you help with this problem?
