Messages won't appear (chat window appears blank)

It connects to the server and I can see the users online. Whenever I receive a message, the little chat window pops up, but there's no message shown. Also, when I want to send a message, my message is not shown in the chat window. I use NoScript, and I allowed sameplace.cc.

What could be wrong?

More info, I added apps.sameplace.cc to NoScript's whitelist, and still wouldn't work. I disabled NoScript and it worked.

I read something about the fact that SamePlace needs the file:// url granted in NoScript and NoScript being unable to handle it even when put in its whitelist?

Hi Paul,

if you're using a recent version of SamePlace, whitelisting apps.sameplace.cc should be enough, check extensions.sameplace.defaultAppUrl in about:config to see where it points. If it points to apps.* and NoScript still doesn't allow it, I'm out of ideas...

The value for extensions.sameplace.defaultAppUrl in about:config is "default" (without the quotes). Should I change it?

There was an SamePlace update available, and I guess it solved the problem. I left the value for extensions.sameplace.defaultAppUrl untouch ("default").
