Hi.

I use sameplace normaly at work, becasue of msn messenger and internet are block by work/boss/it-boss.

Any way, samplace and its ports are not closed at work. (5223/443)
SP have been used sucksessfully in many months by me and some collegs.
But at thuesday it stoped working and gave us the message posted over.
I checed ports, and several things, and all clear. Found no way too get i it work again.
I installed SP at all my computers home, (because to check if it was SP or my work that have done anything) cheked ports that ports where open. All ok.
So at all i can see i that connecting to SP is ok, because status also goes green.
The message: Failed to connect to MSN servers: [Failure instance: Traceback (failure with no frames): exceptions.Exception: Timeout]
comes after about... 15-30sec.
Edit after posting/Add: I can also mention that this happend on both FF3 and FF2

Would be great if someone knows why, and can help me get SP up an running again.

(sorry if my english are not all correct.)

BR/Mvh KenBjork-norwegian dude :)

This was caused by a server upgrade by Microsoft (more info here: http://groups.google.com/group/py-transports/browse_thread/thread/8e3583a86a4bb053).

I applied the small patch suggested in the above message, things should be working again. (Please close the question as "solved" if they do.)
