Wizard problem: spinning of progress bar (twitter account)

Asked by nicolamr

I am using sameplace as a firefox 3 addon, I already installed 2 accounts with the wizard: msn and gmail. But with twitter it doesn't work. The problem seems not to be a new one: the progress bar just goes on and on and nothing happens.

I've seen that there are many questions about problems with the wizard, but I really didn't understand wether this question has been solved or not, since I've got the last updates of firefox, sameplace (0.9.3.2...) and xmpp4moz (0.6.4.2...).

Sameplace is a great tool, with the twitter account working it would just be perfect to me. Thank you.

Sorry, for delay... Well, possibly, it's due Twitter's overload as it was described here: bug#242486

I am also getting this problem - Is it really down to Twitter?
