SamePlace / Thunderbird: Unexpected Installation Error

When I try to install SamePlace in Thunderbird under Ubuntu 10.10, I get the following error:

Thunderbird could not install the file at file:///home/aaron/downloads/sameplace-suite-0.9.xpi

because: Unexpected installation error
Review the Error Console log for more details.
-203

It then shows me the add-ons installation console with nothing in it.

Is this possibly an issue because I'm running Ubuntu 64-bit?

Hi, I guess Ubuntu 10.10 comes with Thunderbird 3. Sameplace only supports Thunderbird 2.
If you don't need TB3 features, you should think about downgrading to TB2.
