Key combinations CTRL Shift arrow left/right not supported

Asked by Claudia Wilhelmy

Dear David,

thanks for the snappy lightweight terminal emulator.

I am using a program that supports the key combinations CTRL Shift arrow left/right. I can't get them to work in Sakura.

When I input "od -a" or "sed -n l" in Sakura and then the mentioned key combination, nothing is displayed. In lxterminal, the key combinations are recognised. (Ironially lxterminal doesn't recognise other key combinations).

Thank you + best regards,

cw

Hello Claudia,

Thanks. I'm glad you like it.

That's because sakura uses those keybindings to cycle between tabs.

If you want that keybinding to work in your program, you need to reassign the keybinding sakura uses. There's no GUI to edit the keybindings, you have to do it manually in sakura.conf. The ones you're looking for are move_tab_accelerator and prev/next_tab_key.

Can you help with this problem?
