Drag and drop?

Will Sakura support the dragging and dropping of text into Sakura from an external application, in the future?
Gnome's terminal supports this feature and it would be cool to see this one to meet gnome in terms of convenience .

This feature request was added long ago (https://bugs.launchpad.net/sakura/+bug/329044), but nobody has submitted a patch a yet.
