keyboard shortcut modifier key switch

Is there any way to switch shortcut key modifier from Alt to Control? I have seen that on sakura.conf there are some options to change shortcuts but didn't find any general modifier. Thanks

Yes, you should change the "accelerator" for the corresponding keybinding. Just the Control key is the value "4".
