How can I add new color palettes?

Asked by Stefan Maric

I can see that Sakura has a few color schemes (Linus, Tango, rxvt, etc) and the user's config resides in ~/.config/sakura/sakura.conf on palette=[palette]. But I can't see from where it gets these color schemes and I don't know how to add a new one.

I wanted to set the Solarized color schema [https://github.com/altercation/solarized].

I use zsh and I've already set xterm-256colors and edited .Xresources.

Can I get a clue about how Sakura's color scheme works?

Solarized palette is already added in the repository, but there is no stable release yet. You can download the latest source or wait for the next release.

Well, I see. I prefer to wait the stable release.

Thanks for answer. But... If I want another one (different than Linux, xterm, Tango, rxvt or solarized), for example, my own palette? :(

It would be nice for me to know how to add/create a color schema for Sakura.

Thanks in advance.

Oh, I took a look to source code and I saw that color schemes are embedded. So I guess that there is no way to add a color scheme without build Sakura from source.

Hope i can release it soon. And yes, palettes are embedded and are not configurable, but solarized will be included in the next release.

FWIW, I'd actually just built a dpkg from the latest source (r433) for my own use; it's in my PPA at https://launchpad.net/~rsrchboy/+archive/ppa.

Can you help with this problem?
