Are there any instruction on how to run Savanna on HP Cloud or Rackspace?

I'm just starting to play with Savanna and I'm want to deploy a Hadoop cluster on a public OpenStack-based cloud like HP Cloud or Rackspace.

Is there a wiki page / blog post that explains the process?

We don't have such instructions. I'm not even sure that anyone tried to do this.

Quick update on HP Cloud: the current version (v12.12) doesn't allow users to upload custom images. The next version (v13.5) now in beta will support the native OpenStack CLI tools as documented here: https://community.hpcloud.com/article/cloud-135-cli-installation-instructions

I've requested access to v13.5. I will run more tests later.

To summaries my experience so far: it's not really possible to run Savanna (or Nova) outside of HP Cloud due to Identity Service (Keystone) security restrictions.

You're restricted from giving Savanna the credentials required (admin tenant, user, pass) for request verification?

No, that works fine. I've also got API access to Glance to upload the custom images. Savanna is unable to validate the keystone auth token. I've discussed this with support and they said that this is happening due to security restrictions.
