Asked by joerg haller

Hallo!
I could not built my latex file within gedit, so I did download rubber in an arbitrary folder. But it isn´t working automatically, what do I have to change?
Thank you!

You have to install rubber so that the Gedit plugin can find it, I
think. Most Linux distribution have it packaged so usually it's easier
to install it using your system's package manager. Otherwise, go to the
directory where you downloaded it and follow the instructions in the
README file...
