mode transition R mode

Asked by LimDamSub

Hi, I am a graduate student in Korea. Header Compression with an interest, and it analyzed.
I have questions about the R-Mode, which I would appreciate an answer.

1. Why ROHC R-Mode is added to the library to do it? Or if you plan to add?
2. Why R-Mode does not comply with the RFC document it?
3. R-Mode to clarify where and how to use it?
4. R-Mode Transition to clarifies whether the RFC documents?

Thank you!!

Hello,

> 1. Why ROHC R-Mode is added to the library to do it? Or if you plan to add?

Sorry, I don't understand your question. Please rephrase.

> 2. Why R-Mode does not comply with the RFC document it?

The R-mode is not implemented in the ROHC library yet, so the library does not conform to RFC on this specific feature.

> 3. R-Mode to clarify where and how to use it?

The R-mode is not implemented yet, you cannot use it.

> 4. R-Mode Transition to clarifies whether the RFC documents?

Sorry, I don't understand your question. Please rephrase.

1. I understand that R-Mode is not implemented in ROHC Library.
but i want to understand the Reason that R-Mode is not implemented in ROHC?
and another reason?

4. Requires an understanding of R-Mode, when the R-Mode do you use?
Of course, I know that R-Mode in ROHC Library is not implemented.

Lack of time mainly. No technical reason.

R-mode is useful if you prefer reliability over efficiency.
