rohc

should I use list compression?

Hey, guys. I'm doing compression in VoIP. I just need to care about IPv4 and ignore IPv6. I want to know whether I should use list compression?

Hello,

I'm not sure that I fully understand your question... You do not choose to use or not to use list compression. The library takes that decision depending on the streams you compress. For one IPv4/UDP/RTP, list compression is not used by the RTP profile.

You said "I just need to care about IPv4 and ignore IPv6" in the first message and "I just need to compress IPv6/UDP/RTP streams" in the second one. Did you mean IPv4/UDP/RTP in your second message?
