Märklin CS2, mfx-loco not working

Asked by Dieter2

Hallo,

some days agoe, I installed Rocrail first time for test purposes (Desktop-PC, Win 7/64). My sytem: a small gage 1 arrangement, Märklin CS2 (60213) with SW 1.3.0, working Ethernet com. between CS2 and PC, some track switches, sensors and trains, Rocrail 1.4.999, rev. 1205.
Nearly all equipment is now working fine under Rocrail control, switches are working, sensors indicate correctly and my DCC-locos and my Märklin mm2-loco are running with all features(manually controlled). The only thing which is not at all working is my Märklin mfx-loco BR 91. There is no reaction at all under Rocrail control (adressing is correct). Not any function!
My question: Is there basicly any possibility to get the loco with mfx-decoder to run? Is there any hint or parameter to be taken into account or is this a known unsolvable problem?

Thank You in advance for Your help

Best regards

Dieter2

Hello Rob,

thank You very much for your prompt reply. In the meantime I solved my problem by myself. It was my mistake. I had a further look to the Rocrail manual (Märklin Central Station 2) where it is clearly pointed out to take the .sid as Rocrail adressing. I took the decoder adress, which has been the mistake. Now all parts are working fine. I'll send Rocrail a donation.

Best regards

Dieter
